Abstract
Physical education and sport is very important for individuals with disabilities. Therefore, many studies have been carried out by researchers in this field. The aim of this study is to review the studies that related to physical education and sport for individuals with disabilities, designed as pretest-posttest controlled research, made between 2000-2017, in terms of various criteria. This study was designed as a qualitative document analysis. In this study, 44 articles on physical education and sport for individuals with disabilities were reached. These studies were pre-test- posttest controlled and examined the physical fitness levels of individuals. Also they consisted of articles published in Turkish and English journals and consisted of master and doctoral thesis published in Turkey. The articles were examined in terms of working group, the measurement tools, the physical fitness. 17 articles met the criteria when these criteria were taken into consideration.
