Abstract
Entrepreneurship education aims to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge, skills and values regarding how to initiate a successful entrepreneurship process as well as how to sustain this process, in addition to entrepreneurial awareness. In addition, it contributes raising individuals who are self-confident, accountable and have no future anxiety, in a social and personal sense. Entrepreneurship training process includes the production of new and original technologies, products or services and works for the welfare and employment of human beings. Entrepreneurship education is important for the development of the country and the level of prosperity, a dynamic economy, the formation of innovative and creative occupations, the individuals to successfully realize their own commercial and social initiatives, increasing the number of young people willing to be entrepreneurs for providing economic prosperity and employment. From this point of view, the aim of this study is to evaluate how the entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education is carried out in other countries and to evaluate the MEB 2023 Education Vision within the scope of entrepreneurship education. The study was conducted using qualitative research method. Descriptive analysis and content analysis were used to analyze data. Based on the information gathered from the research process, the 2023 Education Vision stated that entrepreneurship education evaluated by the theoretical framework of entrepreneurship is not limited to social entrepreneurship. Information about the content of entrepreneurship education programs (elements of entrepreneurship education) and evaluation criteria are given. In order to increase the applicability of entrepreneurship education in our country, short, medium and long term activities were defined and a sample implementation plan was formed.
