Abstract
In addition to communication, the language has functions of conceptualization, meaning, and socialization. Moreover, it can be defined as a dual articulated and reconciled tool which is separated from other communication means by its symbolic structure. Speech is a natural and external basic language skill that meets our physiological, emotional, social needs and this language skill is also subject to the cognitive control mechanism. The aim of this study is to determine if your mother tongue education can be used differently accordingly to environment and the audience you are facings. To be aware of your moral responsibilities, to speak in accordance with the abilities and capacities of your audience and be ready to level up or down the conversation. Have the ability to detect the conversation and use voice and body lanuge effectively. Have the ability to observe the conversation and handover my knowledge and experinces from a teachers point of view. In this qualitative study, using a one-to-one interview technique, a 9-item semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool and additional questions were directed to the participant when needed. The study group consists of 10 Turkish language teachers, 4 female and 6 male, who actively work in Malatya. During the process enough and revealing informations were given to participants and transferability of research was presented as written document and participant views were checked again and it was trial to provide the persuasiveness of the research. Content and descriptive analysis techniques were used together in the analysis of the data. The data were coded independently by two researchers. It is seen that the percentage of harmony between both code sequences is 78%. In the results of working; it is noteworthy that the participants views on the use of slang, the lack of vocabulary, the reflections of low socioeconomic structure, the inadequacy of activities, the lack of student centered class.
