Abstract
Classroom management is an issue to be considered for effective education. Organizing the physical environment of the classroom is one of the most important elements for creating an environment where learning takes place and effective classroom management. The main purpose of this research is to identify the problems faced by primary education teachers in terms of the physical organization of learning environments. The research was carried out with a total of 50 primary education teachers in the center of Bursa in the fall semester of 2017-2018 academic year, 25 of which are in private schools and 25 of which are in public schools. Teachers were asked to fill in a semi-structured interview form prepared by researchers to identify the problems they encountered and to determine what solutions they have developed for these problems. The research was carried out in the state study design from the qualitative research designs and the descriptive analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data. Teachers had the most problems with the number of students, equipment and cleaning; it has been determined that they have at least a problem with the place of the board, common areas and class sizes.
