  • Abstract
    This research was conducted to examine the relationship between creativity levels and self- perception of 48-72 months old children who received preschool education. In this context, the study was conducted with 90 children of 48-72 month old (53 girls, 37 boys) attending kindergartens of the official primary schools in Maltepe district of Istanbul province in 2018-2019 academic year. In order to collect data in the research; Hybrid Creativity Test and Demoluin Self-Perception Scale for Children were used. According to the result of the research it can be claimed that as the creativity completion sub-dimension increases, self-perception decreases. In the study, girls performed better than boys in creativity in terms of fluency, continuity, and adding new staff, and also in total self-perception and self-esteem. Suggestions were made in the light of the findings obtained from the research.
