Abstract
This study aims to determine the attitudes and anxiety levels of primary school undergraduate students about mathematics teaching in terms of various variables and to reveal the relationship between them. The research was designed according to the relational survey and ex post facto research model. The sample of the study consisted of 203 students enrolled in a primary school undergraduate program at Çukurova University. In the research, the “Mathematics Teaching Attitude Scale” and the “Anxiety Scale for Teaching Mathematics” were used as the data collection tools. Independent groups t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation analysis were used in the data analysis process. According to the results of the research, it was observed that the attitudes of primary school undergraduate students towards mathematics teaching were high, and their anxiety levels were moderate, and there is a negative, low and significant relationship between them. On the other hand, it was found that there was no significant difference between attitudes and anxiety variables related to teaching mathematics according to gender and grade levels.
