  • Abstract
Software-intensive projects are driven by quality concerns; however, these can be difficult to elicit and manage in early stages of a project. Architecturally savvy personas provide a tangible approach for capturing performance, reliability, security, and other quality goals and for reasoning about their impact on system design. The Web extra at http://youtu.be/N_LksckqOO8 is an audio podcast of author Jane Cleland-Huang reading her Requirements column, in which she discusses how architecturally-savvy personas provide a tangible approach for capturing performance, reliability, security, and other quality goals and for reasoning about their impact on system design.
