Industry Speaker, Energy Panelists Assail Government Regulation

After briefly sketching his company\´s reliance on computers in oil and gas production and exploration, Standard Oil of California Chairman Harold J. Haynes attacked government regulation of the energy industry. "A phased return to the principles of a free competitive market is not only compatible with our tradition of economic freedom," the NCC industry lucheon speaker asserted "it is also the most effective way of getting the job done–in energy or in any other type of industrial enterprise."
