Abstract :
Methods for calculating the field of a magnetic recording head with nonlinear B-H characteristics in three dimensions are described. The mesh-refinement iteration technique finite integration technique, matrix difference-splitting iteration technique, and fine-mesh calculation technique are applied to save storage and iteration time. The field and permeability distributions inside interesting domains are presented
