Abstract :
The error performance of M-ary differential phase-shift keying on Rayleigh fading channels is widely analyzed in the framework originated by Pawula, and the results usually take the form of an integral. In this letter, we formulate the same problem in a different framework, and solve it by using a linear prediction-based technique resulting in a simple solution in closed form.
