Abstract :
In a real six-port it is not possible to detect the value of the unknown as an unequivocal solution of a nonlinear system of algebraic equations. Due to system instabilities and residual calibration errors; at most only a small domain of the Γ plane, to which the unknown belongs with a high degree of probability, is found. A statistical analysis of some particular points of this domain is made in order to find the best estimator of the unknown among them
