Abstract :
This paper describes and introduces a user friendly finite element field analysis package "PAFFM". This comes in several versions for the various possible uses in engineering and, although based on an HP9836 Personal Computer, is written in standard Pascal so as to have transportability across the wide range of Pascal supporting personal computers on the market. This will be the first commercially available package to solve electromagnetic field problems in three dimensions on a microcomputer.
