Abstract :
An extended reticular cell counting (ERCC) method is proposed to increase the accuracy in the determination of the fractal dimension of a signal as compared with the reticular cell counting (RCC) method. This new method (ERCC) is used to study the fractal dimension of noises with 1/f¿ power spectrum.
