Abstract :
A magnetic suspension system for manufacturing or other use is presented. A contactless linear guide for the use of a manufacturing instrument and peripheral equipment requires a simple structure and high stability against disturbances since frequent starts and stops are carried out by fairly large driving forces. The construction proposed here has two reference guide bars and a carrier with six control magnets. A linearized multi magnet suspension system and the regulator control are described and also the computational and experimental results are shown.
