Abstract
The object of this paper is to present an experimental study of polycrystalline ferrites of composition Mx Fe3-x-Δ O4 (
) with M = Fe2+Mn2+, Ni2+and Co2+at low frequencies. The samples were obtained with the help of ceramic techniques and carefully analysed by X-ray diffraction and atomic absorption spectra. After sintering at 1400-1700 K, the ferrites were rapidly quenched in liquid nitrogen in order to preserve vacancies.
