Abstract
As systems testing becomes more and more engrained in the electrical industry, studies involving single component changes in the design of a system become most important. Cases in which ground and phase insulations have been substituted have had a good deal of work on them. These cases have been done to show the equivalence of substituted products versus standard products which were originally tested. This study involves the substitution of electrical insulating varnishes. The testing instituted the use of abbreviated sets of samples which were tested side by side.
