Abstract :
An analysis of radar signals is provided with details appropriate in the design of short range long dwell time radar systems, e.g. missile warning radar. It considers nonuniform amplitude return details from target range translation during long dwell times and provides an expression for dwell time that optimizes signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
