Abstract :
An elastic model, based on distributions of dislocations, of the stress-strain distribution around implantation boundaries in bubble materials is presented. X-ray imaging under conditions of plane wave illumination serves to check upon the general validity of the model. Finally, the distribution of stress-induced easy magnetization directions around non implanted patterns is discussed.
