Abstract :
Photographs of the objects shown at an IEEE Centennial exhibition, together with a modified version of the explaining texts and illustrations, are presented. It may give an impression of the era of important inventions circa 100 years ago, as well as of the technical importance of magnetism involved, to those who could not visit the 1984 INTERMAG Conference.
