    The use of stochastic learning automata to perform global search of adaptive IIR filter error surfaces has been recently demonstrated by the authors. In this correspondence the concept of automata games and a novel hybrid search strategy are introduced to improve the convergence speed, and as possible solutions to the high dimensionality problem
