Influence of Ti addition to the Sn core on the critical current density J
cof multlfilamentary Nb
3Sn wires fabricated by the internal tin process was studied. The addition ( ∼1.5 wt% Ti) improved the values of J
cat very high magnetic fields over those for the pure Nb
3Sn, e.g.,

A/mm
2at 18 T. This is 3-4 times greater than a similarly processed pure Nb
3Sn wire and is within ∼10 % of the highest critical current density measured for the Ti alloyed bronze processed Nb
3Sn wires.
