Abstract
A simplified adaptive receiving antenna array is considered for which the element signal phases are adjustable but the amplitudes are not. An algorithm for determining the phase adjustments necessary to bring the signals into coincidence is presented. For an array of 
elements, the algorithm requires that the power at the summed output of the array be measured for 
test adjustments of the phase shifter array.
