Abstract
A brief summary of some new computations of the incremental propagation constants for a traveling-wave tube is presented in the form of graphs. The data includes values of the wave growth factor x1 for larger values of the loss parameter
. The computations for large values of the space-charge parameter
and of the gain parameter
have revealed an anomalous propagation region for negative ranges of the velocity parameter b, which shows the transition from resistive-wall type interaction to the usual traveling-wave tube type interaction.
