  • Abstract
    The authors present a simple logic circuit for controlling the commutation procedure of a matrix converter. The three-phase PWM voltage signals and the current direction are input variables. The logic circuit determines transitional switching patterns to follow in each phase and generates them sequentially. It produces accurate outputs under any input signal combination with a structure that is simple, requiring only a few logic gates
