Abstract :
Fine metallic particles are obtained by, reduction of cobalt-modified gamma iron oxides which are prepared by dehydrating γ-FeOOH. As a first step, γ-FeOOH particles are obtained by oxidizing Fe(OH)2coloidal precipitation to which water glass (0.5-1.0 at% of Si) has been added to reduce the size of the γ-FeOOH
