Abstract :
Field behavior near edges involving an anisotropic medium and edges involving three isotropic dielectrics is analyzed. Equations are presented which relate this behavior to the geometry and the electrical properties of the media surrounding the edge. It is found that for the three-dielectric configuration, geometric singularities do not necessarily imply field singularities.
