  • Abstract
    From a knowledge of the surface currents induced on a paraboloid reflector it is shown how the position of the peak scattered field on axis depends on both the f/D ratio and the frequency. Maximum field occurs for an f/D of 0.25, and for this case the actual and geometric foci coincide.
