  • Abstract
    It is shown that the sidelobe level of circular arrays with a constant excitation amplitude can be reduced by adjusting the excitation phases of array elements. The resulting radiation pattern has equal-ripple sidelobes similar to a Chebyshev pattern. Examples are given.
