Abstract :
Hysteresis loops of a perpendicular magnetic film were calculated as a function of the angle between the applied magnetic field and the axis normal to the film plane. In this calculation, it was assumed that both wall-motion and magnetization-rotation occur simultaneously, and that the film has periodic pinning-centers for the wall-motion. The calculated results were compared with the experimental results for the CoCr sputtered films. By considering the dispersion of the easy magnetization axis around the perpendicular axis, good agreement was obtained between the calculations and the experiments.
