Abstract :
This paper describes sound PCM decoder LSIs used for 12GHz TV direct broadcasting via satellite (DBS). These LSIs include newly developed data processing circuits, such as sync detector, RAM controller, de-interleaver, error corrector etc. Functions and features of these circuits are explained in detail.
