Abstract :
Rapid rate of change of current in the fall time of transistors and the forward and reverse recovery time of diodes often gives rise to radiated electromagnetic interference repeated at horizontal frequency. When surface acoustic wave filters are used, scan bars are sometimes produced on the screen as a result of triple transit echoes of the received noises. Compromises should often be made between receiving sensitivity power loss, and electromagnetic compatibility.
