Abstract :
The MMP method /1/ shows up to yield powerful programs for the calculation of guided waves on cylindrical structures with piecewise homogeneous, linear, isotropic media. Special techniques used to improve the method are discussed. The broad area of applications is demonstrated by various examples such as cables, dielectric, and hollow waveguides.
