Abstract :
A new method of solving the transient response problem in slot-embedded conductor in time domain is presented. This method is based on Boundary Element technique and takes into account of the direct relation between the magnetic vector potential, current and the applied voltage source. Several applications which are abstracted from voltage transients in electric machines are illustrated. The results show clearly that the method is quite accurate and efficient.
