  • Abstract
    Previously known methods of obtaining state and output equations were based on the graph theoretic approach. The formulation of circuit equations using modified nodal analysis (MNA) is straightforward and easy to implement in computer formulation. Even if paper and pencil methods are used, for simple circuits, the equations can be obtained by inspection. A simple and systematic method for obtaining state equations using the MNA approach is presented
