Abstract :
Direct measurements were made of the electron-beam noise parameters using a modified Currie-type gun. The noise parameters were measured as a function of the electric field in the vicinity of the cathode. The S parameter was found to be strongly influenced by this field in the Currie-type gun, but the parameter
