Computer graphics techniques for postprocessing are described. The discussion concentrates on display of scalars and vectors distributed in 2-D and 3-D fields such as magnetic flux density and electric field intensity. Attention is given to the efficiency of selecting suitable unknown variables, approximation functions, interpolations for display, objects of observation, and interactive observation
