Abstract :
Fluctuations in B-H loops of amorphous cores magnetized with excitation current of high frequency have a large effect on detection performances of magnetic sensors using the cores. The lowest limit in dynamic range of the sensors is mainly restricted by them. In order to investigate the effect quantitatively, means of evaluating their magnitude have to be found This paper presents a novel measuring method and measured results are given on both Co-based and Fe-Ni based cores. The ratio of the fluctuations in a Co-based core is about one-tenth of that in an Fe-Ni type.
