Abstract :
The effects of quantisation on main-lobe width, side-lobe level and main-lobe energy for Hanning, Hamming, Blackman, sum-cosine, raised-cosine family and modified zeroth-order Bessel family data windows are presented for different word lengths. The results presented here enable the user to choose an optimum word length for a desired window.
