Abstract :
A technique for computing the total aperture-blockage effect of a loaded wire antenna feeding a paraboloidal reflector is described. First an analytical formulation for determining the fields scattered by a field incident upon a loaded wire antenna is described, and then an iterative procedure utilizing this result to obtain the aperture blockage effect is given. Typical results are presented for both simple and complex feed structures.
