Abstract :
The coercivities and electrical resistivities of melt-spun and cold-rolled amorphous Fe77Si10B13alloy ribbons are presented. In the as-quenched state, the material was magnetically uniform and isotropic in the plane of the ribbon. Cold-rolling does not produce an easy direction but increases the coercivity from - 0.01 to - 20 oersted. Electrical resistivity does not reflect the increase of "defects" due to cold rolling.
