Abstract :
A complete, 3-D electromagnetic analysis of the inboard first wall of the ITER fusion device has been performed using the 3-D general-purpose eddy-current code TRIFOU, based on a mixed FEM (finite element method) and BIEM (boundary integral equation method) technique and using the magnetic field h as a state variable. The main objectives were to estimate the circulation of induced currents and to calculate the distribution of body forces generated from the coupling of eddy-current and magnetic fields
