  • Abstract
    The effect of raindrop shape on the crosspolarization of microwaves has been investigated using a modification of Brussard´s meteorological rain model. It is shown that in a rainfall situation the drops that mainly affect the crasspolarization signal level are the small- to medium-size ones.
