Abstract :
The author proposes an extension of the Monte Carlo procedures to the solution of axisymmetric problems. The stochastic techniques are illustrated with specific practical applications to the solution of Laplace´s and Poisson´s equations. The method requires no input data and provides results as accurate as those obtained using the finite element method
