Abstract :
A simple approximate method for the numerical analysis of the moderately thick tubular dipole is presented. It is based on an entire-domain Galerkin procedure using a polynomial representation of the current distribution. The singularity occurring in the kernel of the integral equation is extracted in a form allowing approximate analytical evaluation of the triple integrals. A comparison between computed and previously reported experimental results is given.
