Abstract
A junior-senior level book, Arnold Allen´s Probability, Statics, and Queueing Theory with Computer Science Applications would be quite useful as a text for the applied probability and statistics course in a computer science or engineering curriculum. It is also very suitable for self-study by practicing computer science data processing professionals.
