Abstract :
The synthesis of a particular class of pipelined IIR digital filter requires the denominator of the z-transform transfer function to be expressed in scattered form. The existing technique for deriving the scattered coefficient values requires finding the zeros of the denominator polynomial. The author presents a new approach for deriving the scattered coefficient values that does not require the evaluation of the zeros of the transfer function´s denominator polynomial
