Abstract :
In this paper, we describe the Interactive Planetary Image Processing System (IPIPS) which has been developed for studies ofplanetary meteorology and oceanography. The computing machinery,the image display systems, and the programming that unites them intoan in-teractive research and analysis tool are described.
