Abstract
We describe an amplitude comparison scheme for increasing the azimuthal resolution of ocean suface current measurements using dual-frequency radar techniques. We show that an angular resolution of 4 percent of the antenna beamwidth can be acheived when the signal-to-noise ratio is 10 dB.
