Abstract :
The design and experimental results of a low profile planar dipole antenna with effective channel bandwidth are presented. The matching network of the design with a wider bandwidth tapered microstrip line to overlap the coplanar stripline transition that only provided unbalance to the balanced line created balanced equal power output and phase difference characteristics for the balanced feed dipole element.
