Abstract :
This paper describes an analytical method of making a study of stationary oscillations produced in a superconducting circuit such as a Josephson oscillator or Josephson mixer. The principle of the method is based on solving simultaneous polynomial equations obtained from the harmonic balance method. The theory of the analysis is described and some examples of applying this method to a Josephson oscillator are illustrated. It is shown that the numerical results given by this method are in good agreement with those of computer simulations.
